Northern Nature - Denmark & The Faroe Islands

Along the Danish West Coast & the Faroe Islands

The Wadden Sea National Park UNESCO – the world's largest unbroken system of intertidal sand and mud flats.

Tirpitz – this spectacular new museum is hidden underneath the sand in the dune landscape of the West Coast and connected to the original WW2 bunker Tirpitz via an underground tunnel.

Grenen – Denmark’s northernmost point and the end of the European continent. Here you can stand with one foot in the North Sea and the other in the Baltic Sea.

Tórshavn – the capital of the beautiful archipelago, the Faroe Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean. A semi-autonomous region in the Kingdom of Denmark. Probably the world’s smallest capital with about 20.000 of the archipelago’s total of 51.000 inhabitants.

Vestmanna – one of the biggest attractions in the Faroe Islands is the boat trip to the Vestmanna bird cliffs and grottos.  You can extend this package with extra nights in Copenhagen and/or Aarhus.
